Questioning Why there is no Food (Sonata 13 wks)

Apparently I starve my dogs.  Even though I feed them at 6am, at noon, and again at 6pm, they both inform me that I am being cruel and am starving them.  Sere, who was only being fed twice a day is taking advantage of the situation and starts ringing the bell to inform  me that I have anywhere between 20-30 minutes until their next meal time.  She rings the bell for the whole duration, until the food is placed in front of her.  Sonata on the other hand begins a great food search 3 hours after she is fed, and does not let up until the food magically appears in her bowl.
